Can you remove pet odours and urine?
We can treat many pet odours and urine marks, but the result depends on how deep the contamination has reached into the carpet, underlay or subfloor.
How long does it take for carpets to dry after cleaning?
Hot water extraction usually needs several hours. VLM can often dry in 1 to 2 hours, while dry carpet cleaning can usually be walked on almost immediately.
How frequently should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?
Most homes benefit from professional cleaning every 6 to 12 months. Busy homes, pets, children and commercial footfall may require more regular maintenance.
Should I vacuum my carpets before the cleaning team arrives?
It helps if loose items are removed and the area is accessible. We will pre-vacuum where needed as part of the cleaning process.
Can I use household carpet cleaners for spot removal?
Avoid strong products, bleach or over-wetting. Blot fresh spills gently and contact us for advice, especially with wool or delicate fibres.
Can you remove stains like wine, tea, or coffee?
Many stains can be removed or significantly improved. Older stains, dye transfer, fibre damage and previous chemical treatments can affect the final result.
Do I need to move furniture before the carpet cleaning service?
Please move small items, breakables and anything valuable. Heavy furniture can be discussed when booking so we can agree what is practical and safe.
Can steam cleaning damage my carpet?
When the correct method, temperature and pressure are used, hot water extraction is safe for many carpets. If a carpet is unsuitable, we recommend VLM or dry cleaning instead.
Can you provide a quote over the phone?
Yes. Send the room count, approximate sizes, photos, access details and any stain concerns. Final pricing may depend on inspection and carpet condition.
